Noah Gundersen’s “Carry The Ghost” Set For August 21st Release On Dualtone Music

Carry The Ghost, the second full-length album from acclaimed singer/songwriter Noah Gundersen, is set for release via Dualtone Music on August 21. Gundersen has announced tour dates in support of the new album (See dates below). Gundersen, known for his thoughtful and introspective songs about love, loss, faith and longing, has written 13 new tracks with the underlying realization that we are all the sum of our experiences, whether by choice or by chance. Throughout the new offering, the Seattle native sings about how the acceptance of this as a positive can be liberating, not limiting, if you are looking deep enough.

Carry The Ghost opens with “Slow Dancer”, a contemplative stream of consciousness taking place during the healing process. “Slow Dancer” is available now and can be streamed HERE. Songs such as “Show Me The Light” discover the beauty in a bad situation, or questioning one’s narcissistic subconscious in “Selfish Art”. Carry The Ghost reaches two intense peaks early and late in the album with “Halo (Disappear/Reappear)” and “Heartbreaker” as they build slowly and steadily before erupting into passionate crescendos.

Carry The Ghost is the follow up to Gundersen’s celebrated 2014 debut LP Ledges, which garnered high praise in the press, which included SPIN, USA Today, Magnet, as well as four-star reviews in Mojo, Blurt and People Magazine, who also named Ledges one of the year’s best albums. (See Highlights). Gundersen made his network television debut performance on CBS Saturday Morning and was featured on Last Call with Carson Daly. Gundersen began touring when he was 18, and released three solo EPs between 2008 and 2011. His songs have appeared in a number of TV shows including Vampire Diaries and multiple times in Sons of Anarchy, for which he received an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Original Music & Lyrics.

On Carry The Ghost, Noah Gundersen has hit another artistic peak, but at a mere 25 years old, and seeing his career trajectory, it is abundantly clear that he is nowhere near the apex.
