Darlingside To Release Whippoorwill EP on October 7th

Eclectic folk-quartet Darlingside has announced the release of Whippoorwill, a five song EP which will be released digitally on October 7th. Building on the success of their highly acclaimed album Birds Say, the band decided to release the B-sides and outtakes from those recording sessions which have become staples of their live shows. In conjunction with the release of the EP, Darlingside is also revealing a video for “Blow The House Down”. In typical Darlingside fashion, the animated video, a recurring theme for the multi-talented band members, was created from over 3,000 real hand-shot photographs of tea lights taken in a dark room. Click HERE to view. The band is currently on tour, and has plans to be recording their next studio album in 2017. For a full track listing from Whippoorwill see below.

Darlingside’s modern styling of indie-folk has resonated with both fans and critic’s alike across the country. The band has been the subject of a ‘Talk of the Town’ feature in The New Yorker, (Read HERE) and NPR Music premiered their gorgeous and expressive video for the song “God of Loss” (View HERE).
