TK & The Holy Know-Nothings Release Sinister Video For “Hell of a Time” Off “The Incredible Heat Machine” Out October 15, AmericanaFest Showcase September 23

Portland, Oregon’s TK & The Holy Know-Nothings have released the brand-new video for “Hell of a Time”, the third single out from the band’s much-anticipated sophomore album The Incredible Heat Machine out October 15th (Mama Bird Recording Co.). The creative clip features a disillusioned character, frontman Taylor Kingman, in a threadbare room, contemplating nefarious deeds, misguided by a TV prophet.  Watch the video HERE, and pre-order The Incredible Heat Machine HERE.

“A demented crusade of the modern era fueled by canned food, TV, and isolation all dropped in a bucket of iridescent liquid rippling ever outward. This video was an abstracted exploration of being in the dark and we tried to bring that to light. Luckily, I had Peter Nevins and Eric Loeffler to help carry this lopsided weight to the finish line.”
Taylor Kingman

Prior to the album’s release, TK & The Holy Know-Nothings will bring their distinct brand of “psychedelic doom boogie” to the prestigious AmericanaFest music festival and conference. While in Nashville, the band will visit the Paste studio for a live session on September 22nd at 5pm CT; watch them online HERE. The official showcase is Thursday September 23rd at Mercy Lounge at 7pm CT. Excitement for TK & The Holy Know-Nothings is growing with the media as well; Holler. recently featured the band as their New Artist Of The Week.

The Incredible Heat Machine follows the band’s 2019 debut Arguably OK and 2020’s B-sides EP Pickled Heat, which collectively introduced listeners to their distinct brand of unbound rock & roll infused with the strange, wide-open, outsider nature of Western country. TK & The Holy Know-Nothings amassed a devoted following as they performed sold-out shows throughout their home region and across the US. The band is currently on the road, fresh off an appearance at Borderland Festival and supporting Deer Tick and Cedric Burnside. They’ve also added a pair of hometown release shows at Portland’s Mississippi Studios on October 28th & 29th with support from legendary songwriter Michael Hurley; as well as their first Los Angeles show on November 1st at Hotel Café; and then a host of dates supporting JJ Grey & Mofro’s first West Coast tour in four years. A full list of dates follows.
