American Aquarium’s “Things Change” Receives Critical Acclaim And Impressive First Week Sales

Things Change, the new album from American Aquarium on New West Records had an impressive first week debut upon release, doubling the first week sales of any previous American Aquarium albums. Things Change, an introspective reflection on personal growth and proactive commentary on the current sociopolitical climate in our country reached #1 on the Top New Artists chart, #3 on the Americana/Folk chart, and #6 on the Country Albums Chart.

Since the release of BJ Barham’s highly acclaimed solo 2016 release Rockingham, Barham completely rebuilt the previous configuration of American Aquarium, the band he helped found nearly a decade ago. The band now features new members, Shane Boeker on lead guitar, Joey Bybee on drums, Ben Hussey on bass, Adam Kurtz on pedal steel and electric guitar with BJ Barham on lead vocals and guitar.
