OUT MARCH 6TH ON BILL GREASE RECORDS
Nashville, TN – Celebrated Country/Americana singer/songwriter William Clark Green has released his brand-new track “Man On The Moon,” off his forthcoming album Watterson Hall. Green’s highly anticipated seventh album is set for a March 6th release on his independent label Bill Grease Records.
Right out of the gate, “Man On The Moon” kicks off with a fiery guitar riff punctuated by impassioned vocal harmonies that ease into the buoyant rhythm that carries each verse. The song reflects the need to take a break from the everyday pressure, static and general chaos of life, and spend some time quality time those important to you.
“’Man on the Moon’ is just about gettin’ away from it all for a while – shutting out the noise, finding a private, intimate spot, and soaking it in with someone who means something to you,” says Green. “No plans, no pressure, just a night that feels right. Sometimes that’s all you need – me, her, and the man on the moon.” Listen to “Man On The Moon” HERE.
Watterson Hall is Green’s most personal and revealing album to date. After 15+ years of writing, performing and garnering a passionate fanbase, the Eastland, Texas native offers a new-found perspective in his life and celebrated career following marriage and the arrival of his children. Green opens a new creative chapter, one shaped by love, loss, and life lessons learned through experience. As a husband and father, he leans into a deeper, more expansive worldview. The result is a collection of the most personal and meaningful songs of his career — songs that embrace joy, resilience, and of course, a touch of his signature wit.
Watterson Hall was made in Nashville with producer Logan Wall, with each track recorded live. The album exudes sincerity, joy, grit, heartfelt reflection and a new dimension of William Clark Green.
