ACCLAIMED RUSTBELT AMERICANA BAND MARKS A DECADE WITH MILESTONE PERFORMANCES AND EXHIBIT UNVEILING
Nashville, TN – Indie Rustbelt Americana trio The Shootouts—vocalist/guitarist Ryan Humbert, backing vocalist/guitarist Emily Bates, and lead guitarist Brian Poston—have announced a series of special events commemorating the band’s 10th anniversary, marking a decade since their debut show on October 10, 2015.
To celebrate, the band will be hosting three unique, one-night-only events:
- October 3, 2025 – VIP Anniversary Party & Exhibit Unveiling, Akron, OH
Celebrate in style at the brand-new Akron History Center with an exclusive Shootouts VIP party and exhibit debut. Enjoy complimentary hors d’oeuvres, cake, and wine tasting, plus take home an engraved glass keepsake. The evening will also feature an intimate acoustic set by Humbert, Bates, and Poston, and a silent auction of rare memorabilia. Tickets are $35, limited to 100 guests, with proceeds benefiting the museum. Cap off the night at the after-party next door at The Cellar & Co. - October 10, 2025 – Grand Ole Opry, Nashville, TN
Step into country music history as The Shootouts take the stage for their10th Grand Ole Opry performance—on the very day of their 10-year anniversary. - October 17, 2025 – The Happy Dog, Cleveland, OH
Back where it all began. The Shootouts return to the venue that hosted their very first two gigs for a full-band blowout in this cozy Cleveland hotspot. Expect surprise special guests, a high-energy set, and only 175 advance tickets—just $10 each—for this one-night-only homecoming.
About the Shootouts:
Formed in Akron, Ohio, and led by Ryan Humbert, with Emily Bates and Brian Poston, The Shootouts have become a mainstay in roots country and Americana scenes, known for their energy, tight musicianship, and storytelling. The Shootouts’ latest album, Switchback—released on May 30, 2025, on Transoceanic Records—has received high praise for its bold mix of traditional country, bluegrass, roots rock, and Americana. Reviewers described the album as “precise and electric” and highlighted notable collaborations with Sam Bush, Vince Gill, Lindsay Lou, Mickey Raphael, and Rodney Crowell. Rolling Stone called the album “the sleeper Americana LP of the Summer,” while it spent over 10 weeks in the Americana Music Association’s “Top 10 Album Chart,” peaking at #4.
