Turnpike Troubadours Hit Milestone With Self Titled Third Album Debut At #3 On Country Chart And Top #20 On Billboard Top 200

Acclaimed Oklahoma band Turnpike Troubadours have achieved their highest chart debut ever with their self-titled third release. The Turnpike Troubadours (Bossier City/Thirty Tigers) reached  #17 overall on the Billboard Top 200, #3 on the Billboard Country Albums Chart, and #2 on the Independent Albums Chart.  What makes these numbers even more impressive is the fact that despite a massive following, Turnpike Troubadours have flown relatively under the radar, achieving success as true independents. Playboy Magazine wrote that they are “wrenching country music out of a staid rut and turning it into something else entirely” and Noisey writes that the new album is “more mature with a few lessons learned, but still ready to raise some hell”. The new album premiered exclusively via Noisey along with a full-length interview. Click HERE to read/stream.

Not only are Turnpike Troubadours a force to be reckoned with everywhere from Colorado to Texas to Oklahoma, they regularly headline venues ranging from 1,000 to 4,000 across the country. They have sold out The Troubadour in Los Angeles and will be returning to LA on October 7th performing at The El Rey Theatre.  In New York City they’ll be returning to headline the Highline Ballroom.  For a full list of the band’s extensive tour schedule please see below.

Turnpike Troubadours put on one of the most fiery live performances you’ll ever see, however it’s their great songwriting that truly sets them apart. The new album contains 11 original songs featuring the quintet’s signature blend of roots, rock, folk, and raw country played with grit, passion, and authenticity.

Standouts include the compelling storytelling skills of lead vocalist Evan Felker showcased in “Bird Hunters” and “The Mercury”.
